 Fashioned from an array of tiny shells, coral, and abalone, each meticulously placed by hand, this nutcracker boasts a stunning texture composed of hundreds of rare shells. Valiente Davis, inspired by her fascination with nutcrackers, embarked on this creation during the 2023 Christmas holiday, immersing herself in Jazz Christmas music throughout the process. 

What began as a small project quickly evolved into a labor of love, with weeks spent decorating this intricate piece. Even the teeth of the nutcracker are fashioned from tiny shells, showcasing the artist's unwavering attention to detail and commitment to her craft. As Neptune, the mighty sea god, dons his festive attire adorned with intricate seashells, coral, and abalone, he becomes a symbol of the sea's bounty and the joyous celebration of the holiday season.
